Meditation For Racing Minds

We live complex lives in a complex world. It’s no wonder that our racing minds join us for meditation! Quickly learn an approach based on the biology of the relaxation response to help you deal with racing thoughts, have more mental clarity, greater happiness, less stress, & more self-awareness. You’ll learn skills you can bring into existing moments in your day. The process is easier than you think! I’ll remove the mystery behind what is really happening for healthy meditators. Meditation is a vibrant experience, not monotone, and it takes some skill to handle that aliveness. We’ll practice some techniques that will guide you in sensing and welcoming the rhythms of our senses, instincts, and emotions in this modern, western approach. You’ll take away some powerful, fresh language making meditation accessible to the newcomer or refreshes the practice of someone more experienced.
BIO: Bernadette is a certified meditation coach and founder and CEO of Light Your Fire Meditation. She discovered instinctive meditation as a way to handle grief. She fell in love with how meditation made her feel… vibrant, alive, creative, and more self-aware. Using her science background as a Biology educator and her love of nature, Bernadette has developed a unique style of teaching meditation which appeals to beginners as well as those looking to refresh their practice. Bernadette works with individuals, groups, and corporations in person, on the phone, and over the internet. She also has an online basic meditation course available on her website.
Bernadette has a Biology degree from Lehigh University and a Master’s in Biology from East Stroudsburg University. Under the guidance of Dr. Lorin Roche & Camille Maurine, Bernadette has trained at Kripalu Center(MA) and at Esalen(CA). Lorin and Camille are international experts in instinctive meditation and authors of multiple books including Meditation Made Easy, The Radiance Sutras, and Mediation Secrets for Women.
